The Research and Innovation Development (RID) Department at INTRASOFT International works in close collaboration with other INTRASOFT teams, to bring technological and business innovation within the Group. The company continuously monitors new technological trends where RID is dealing with the development and assessment of innovative pre-industrial products and services. Starting in 2015, INTRASOFT International has taken a step further by investing even more in innovation and R&D both internally, but also through participation in venture capital funds and start-ups.

 

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT

INTRASOFT International (Luxembourg) leads WP7, the MaaS4EU Open Platform. It is leading tasks T7.2, the development of the personal mobility assistant, and T7.4 which aims to implement, test and deliver the integrated MaaS4EU open platform. INTRASOFT International (Luxembourg) is also having a task-leading role in WP5 and WP8. In WP5 it leads T5.4, data portability, management and security & privacy and contributes to T5.3 data analytics. In WP8 it leads T8.1 pilots’ setup, and it is also supporting the Luxembourg pilot. INTRASOFT International (Luxembourg) is also taking part to the various tasks in WP2, the MaaS Ecosystem. Finally, it also contributes to WP9 dissemination activities.

KEY PERSONNEL

Mrs Akrivi Vivian Kiousi (Female): joined INTRASOFT International S.A. in May 2001 and acts as a Senior Delivery Manager and Head of the Transport Lab of the Research & Innovation Development Department of the company. For eighteen years in research, Mrs. Kiousi during the last 18 years in research has gained experience in the field of Transport, e-Government, Human Computer Interaction, Internet based Technologies, Community Portals, Promotion and Dissemination Strategies. Mrs. Kiousi was and is currently involved in several relevant European and R&D Projects such as CIVITAS WIKI (Support action to CIVITAS initiative), OPTIMUM H2020, CORE IP H2020, IMAGINE IP, CASSANDRA IP, ETIS AGENT, in various positions including Project Coordination, Project Management, Dissemination and Communications management. She is a PhD candidate on behavioural and economical frameworks for multimodal and mobility as a service (MaaS) transportation schemes. She holds two masters (MSc), in Cognitive Science and Telecommunications Computing and Human Centred Systems awarded by the school of Computing and the Electronic and Electrical School of Engineering respectively at the University of Birmingham. In addition, Mrs. Kiousi holds a BSc Degree in Psychology and History of Art (double major). She has been trained in several management, communication methodologies and social media strategies and she is CMMI-DEV 1.3 ML3 Appraisal Team Member and ATM. Personal interests are research topics on energy efficiency, urban mobility, logistics, gender equality and mobility.

Mrs. Irene Matzakou (Female): is Research and Innovation Manager for INTRASOFT International S.A. since 2014. She has more than 7 years of working experience in National and EU funded ICT projects (H2020, FP7, etc.), either as a project member or as a technical project manager and coordinator. She holds an MEng Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA, 2008) and a MSc Degree in Engineering and Economic Systems from NTUA and University of Piraeus (2014). She is a PhD candidate in the field of Enterprise Interoperability at the Decision Support Systems Laboratory (DSSLab) of NTUA. Previous experience includes more than 5 years of working as Research Associate and ICT Consultant at the Decision Support Systems Lab of NTUA. Her research fields of interest include e-Government and e-Business Interoperability, as well as e-Participation, Social Media and Web technologies (Web 2.0, Web 3.0). Further interests include transportation, open and GIS data along with their applications for promoting innovation in smart cities and smart mobility. Other previous experience and interests include Multi-criteria Decision Analysis, as well as Semantics and Services Engineering. Her research work results have been published in various conference proceedings, journals and books.

Mr Georgios Koutalieris (Male): is Senior Research and Innovation Expert at INTRASOFT International. He has accumulated experience and significant achievements in ICT new product development and also in IoT/M2M commercial product roadmapping. He has successfully implemented coaching contracts assisting IT companies on their research and innovation strategy as well as their product portfolio management. During the last 15 years he has assumed key roles in more than twenty (20) FP6, FP7 and National R&D projects and has over 10 years of experience in managing ICT R&D development teams He is frequently appointed as an invited ICT evaluator and expert reviewer by the European Commission and by Public Bodies in the EU. His research interests focus on Internet of Things Technologies Transfer and Commercialisation, Sustainable Integration models, Data Governance and Billing/Pricing Models. He holds a MEng Degree from the Computer and Informatics Engineering Department, University of Patras, and an MSc in Telecommunications Management and Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a member of the Hellenic Chamber of Engineers (HCE) and the Hellenic Association of Information & Communication Technologies in Education (HAICTE).
