BRIEF PARTNER PROFILE
Sales-Lentz is leader in urban mobility for passenger transport and journeys by car, bus or mini-van; a service for the public, private, business or leisure customer. The company is a major player in the field of passenger transport, in Luxembourg as well as the Greater Region. Sales-Lentz is actively involved in protecting the environment by purchasing vehicles which use renewable energy or compensating CO2 emissions with the aim of becoming a climate neutral company.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
Sales-Lentz is the operator for the pilot case in Luxembourg and as such it leads the Luxembourg pilot (T8.3) in WP8.
KEY PERSONNEL
Mr. Wolfgang Schroeder (Male): joined the hotel family business from his parents from an early age to follow and then perform hotel management studies. Early 90s he accepted the mission to establish the incoming tourism in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. In 1996 he joined the Sales-Lentz Group, where he held various positions, the head of tourism department, through the Director Sales Transport and Mobility Director to the General Director. In fulfilling its responsibilities very diverse it has passed through all branches of industry. Versatile and always at the forefront of progress has already given birth to many projects as the Night Rider, Flexibus, flibco.com, Executive Lane. This background allows him to be comfortable in his new role as Managing Director.
Mr. Eric Zorn (Male): graduated in Marketing & Communication Studies at the university of Brussels – Master degree in “corporate communications”. Since 2015 he works for Sales-Lentz, before being head of communication, he was in charge of the planning of SLA’s transport solutions (big events, daily, private companies, public) – this can be considered as the logistic part of the company’s core business. Planning also implicates the driver’s programs and pauses as well as the choice of the appropriated bus categories, always by being in line with the regulations regarding work time and with respect of the legal aspects in general. Furthermore he determined the needs of drivers and busses for several tender processes.
