The company is a subsidiary of National Toll Payment Services Private Company Limited by Shares, a 100% state-owned enterprise.
The subsidiary was established to conduct projects and tasks related to the parent company in the scope of toll collection, road user charging, mobile payments, weigh-in-motion, and other ITS solutions. Toll Service Zrt. is responsible for launching and implementing projects across the globe concerning any of the previously listed ITS solutions, Hungarian technology and know-how.
As for the parent company, National Toll Payment Services Private Company Limited by Shares is a state-owned enterprise registered and located in Hungary, Budapest. The enterprise is in charge of operating and maintaining the Hungarian Toll and Road User Charging System on more than 6,700 km of toll road network in Hungary. On behalf of the Hungarian Government, the company is responsible for the collection, control, and management of all toll and road user charge fees and provides support in enforcement activities related to toll collection within the country.
KEY PERSONNEL
Zoltán Varga has been the CEO of Toll Service Plc. since 2013. He is responsible for establishing professional networks related to transport services. He has held numerous presentations in various professional conferences. He is in charge of supervising the activities of the company, conducting studies, assessing business potential, promoting the Hungarian toll charging system and entering into partnership with local suppliers and advisors. Zoltán Varga has been working for the National Toll Payment Services Plc. and its legal predecessor since 2011. Currently he is the director of international relations. He leads the team of international relations experts and supervises international tenders, participates in establishing professional cooperation with foreign partners, promotes the Hungarian toll charging system in various professional conferences worldwide, conducts assessment and feasibility projects worldwide.
Lajos Kibédi-Varga has been working for the National Toll Payment Services Plc. as the Director of Services since 2016. He is responsible for managing Customer Services, E-vignette and HU-GO e-toll Sales Channels as well as for service level improvements. He has been the Chairman of TUKE – Tudatos Közlekedők Egyesülete (Association for Responsible Mobility) since 2012. The Association aims at implementing and improving strategies for transport safety. Since he graduated from Budapest University of Technology and Economics and specialized in transportation engineering and mobility management, he has been dealing with transport and smart city concepts in various projects.
Viktória Siklósi is a PRINCE2 Practitioner certified project manager and has been working in project management for 4 years. Currently she is dealing with international tenders in the field of toll charging, she is involved in attending professional conferences related to transport and mobility. She is in charge of liaising with foreign and domestic partners, establishing new relations and promoting the company and its services.
